GCPS Honored with Governor’s Volunteerism and Community Service Award

Having been nominated by the Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services, our school division was honored to receive a 2016¬†Governor’s Volunteerism and Community Service Award. The recognition ceremony was held April 18th at the Governor’s Mansion. GCPS was represented by School Board Chair, Bruce Watson, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Steve Geyer, Director of Career & Technical Education, Bruce Watson, and GHS senior, Mark Weaver.
